LEMOINE, a Great Place to Work®-Certified company , is seeking Residential Property Inspectors to perform residential damage assessments in support Volusia County's long-term recovery from prior disasters.
The Residential Property Inspector, also known as the damage assessor, performs comprehensive damage assessments in support of disaster recovery efforts.
The Inspector performs damage assessments to document completed repairs and establishes the scope of work for homeowner rehabilitation and reconstruction projects funded by HUD's Community Development Block Grant Disaster Recovery (CDBG-DR) Program.
While utilizing Xactimate estimating software, the Inspector is required to accurately identify, document, and itemize the scope of work completed and remaining.
Job Responsibilities :
The Inspector must attend the required training and maintain a complete understanding of all applicable Program policies, requirements, and procedures while working independently to manage inspection assignments.

The physical and mental demands of this position must be met by an employee to successfully perform the essential functions of this job.
While performing the duties of this job, the employee is frequently required to sit, stand, walk, use hands to finger, handle, or feel, reach with hands and arms, climb or balance, stoop, kneel, crouch, or crawl.
The employee must be able to occasionally lift and / or move up to 50 pounds.
